Are you ready to take the next step in your insurance career? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Underwriter to join our client's dynamic team. As an Assistant Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in the team, helping to provide top-tier financial services that meet and exceed their clients' needs. You will support their operations through routine administrative tasks, maintaining accurate data records and effective communication. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to policy and procedure development, ensuring that all activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with company standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Entering and maintaining accurate data records through Excel.
  • Prepare underwriting quotation documents and management reports. 
  • Assist in the resolution of outstanding premium receivable issues.
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to solve queries.

Skills & Role Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • General insurance experience, preferably in Motor Insurance (fleet or private). 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

    • Honesty, responsibility, and courtesy
  • Desirable:
    • Certificate III in General Insurance or equivalent
    • Knowledge of commercial insurance products
