Senior Credit Controller – Insurance

Our established technology led Insurtech Underwriting agency client, based in CBD, are dedicated to providing exceptional products and services.

As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a Senior Credit Controller to join the team, reporting to the Finance Manager.

As a Senior Credit Controller you will play a vital role in maintaining financial stability and minimising risk for the business.

You will also be responsible for supporting and mentoring another team member as well as:

• Daily management of the remit, finance and instalment Inboxes
• Running and managing reporting for discrepancies and overpayment of premiums
• Managing monthly instalment commission reporting and queries via the bespoke system and processing monthly refunds
• Identifying any historical system and broker queries, communicating effectively with brokers to resolve payment issues

To excel in the role you will have:

• Significant Finance/ Credit Control or Collections experience working in the general insurance industry, within an insurer or an underwriting agency (Essential)
• Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills and prior experience liaising with insurance brokers to address any queries/concerns
• Strong IT skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
• Experience in supporting/mentoring junior members of a team
• Strong knowledge of credit management principles and practices
