Due to continued growth, our client—a well established and highly regarded brokerage—is seeking a driven Account Manager to join their Gold Coast team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage your own SME portfolio while being supported by a dedicated administrative resource, allowing you to focus on what matters most—your clients.

In this role, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients across a broad range of industries
- Handle a diverse mix of policies including SME Package, Property, Liability, Motor, Fleet, Financial Lines, and Retail
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Provide tailored advice and insurance solutions aligned to client needs
- Manage renewals, endorsements, and support claims processes
- Negotiate with insurers to achieve the best outcomes for your clients
- Identify and convert new business and cross-selling opportunities
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a motivated and proactive broker who is passionate about delivering great client outcomes. You will have:
- 2+ years’ experience in commercial insurance broking or account management
- Tier 1 qualification (essential)
- Exposure to SME clients and general commercial lines
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- Good time management and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with systems such as Winbeat or Sunrise (advantageous, not essential) ISR or BI experience is not required but will be viewed favourably.
- Supportive team environment with dedicated administrative backing
