Claims Executive

The Role

As a Claims Executive, you’ll take full ownership of a portfolio of General Insurance claims—managing them end-to-end and delivering outcomes that are fair, efficient, and customer-focused.

You’ll be the go-to person for brokers and clients, bringing clarity, confidence, and care to every interaction.

• Own and manage claims from lodgement through to settlement
• Make confident, well-informed decisions aligned with policy and guidelines
• Keep claims moving and meet service timeframes
• Deliver clear, empathetic communication to customers and brokers
• Handle enquiries and resolve issues with professionalism
• Support complaint handling and dispute resolution (RG 271)
• Collaborate with a close-knit team to deliver standout service

What you'll bring

• Experience in General Insurance claims handling - in particular Commercial Motor and Property Claims
• Strong knowledge of claims processes and policy interpretation
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A calm, customer-first approach—especially in complex situations
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• A team mindset with the ability to work autonomously
• RG 271 knowledge (a bonus, not a must)
