Senior Financial Claims Consultant

• Genuine flexibility with hours and 2/3 days in office
• Can be based in Sydney or Melbourne office
• Legal Degree Essential

Manage your own portfolio of complex claims across Directors & Officers (D&O), Professional Indemnity (PI), Management Liability, and Cyber for national and international insurer clients.

Reporting to the Manager of the team and as a Senior, you will play a key role in evaluating coverage, manage litigation, and deliver fair, timely outcomes for clients.

You will also:

• Manage end-to-end claims for Financial Lines products to settlement
• Interpret policy coverage and provide clear, well-reasoned liability assessments
• Instruct and liaise with external legal counsel, experts, and other stakeholders
• Monitor and control claim costs, reserves, and timelines
• Maintain accurate and compliant claims documentation

To succeed in the role, you will have:

• A Law Degree (essential)
• Recent Financial Lines claims experience
• Exposure to Lloyds of London market (highly desireable)
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and complex matters independently
• A Commercial mind with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
